via

Baccarat is the latest luxury brand slated to be associated with luxury condos in Miami. The Related Company announced that it is partnering with Baccarat at its project at 444 Brickell Avenue in Miami’s Brickell neighborhood. The site at 444 Brickell was previously known as One Brickell.

This will be Baccarat’s first residences in Miami. In a competitive market, Developers are always seeking for differentiators, and partnering with Luxury brands has been an avenue for achieving just that.

The project will be comprised of 3 stories rising 57, 77, and 82 stories. Related Company has tapped Arquitectonica to lead architectural design and Enzo Enea to design landscaping. Plans include a mix of residential, hotel, office, and retail components.  According to plans filed with the Miami Planning department, there will be:

  • 1,400 residential units

  • 249 hotel units

  • 41,272 square feet of office space

  • 24,263 square feet of retail space

  • 1,993 parking spaces

Details are still emerging on what to expect inside the residences, however, we do know they will range in size from 1-4 bedrooms. Given the project’s location, homes on higher floors should offer sweeping views of Downtown Miami and Biscayne Bay.

Amenities will include a business center, fitness center, pool, and riverfront promenade.

6 Condos Designed by Luxury Brands in New York & Miami

Major luxury brands from around the world are leaving their market (and branding) on the luxury real estate market. There is a growing number of projects where major designers are doing interiors of luxury buildings, especially in Miami.

These collaborations increase the appeal and attract buyers in a competitive new development market where prospective buyers have many projects from which to choose. Both sides stand to benefit from bringing on a global luxury brand as the development gets increased publicity because of the collaboration and the luxury brand gets to reach a potentially new audience that may not have previously been immersed in the brand.

In today's market a brand is everything. Young, wealthy buyers especially love luxury brands, and many of these collaborations are familiar in that they most like have pieces from them in their home already. These powerful brands give the building an identity immediately rather than the building trying to have to establish itself as brand on its own.
